Evidence of numerous leaks in the bureaucratic system of the USA are the internal affair of that country, said press Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov. His words on Thursday, March 23, the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.
“We have, thank God, this doesn’t happen. Leaks happen, but not in such volume”, — noted the official representative of the Kremlin. He added that he feels entitled to comment on such cases.
In late February, the US President Donald trump said that the leaks to the press of information damaging Washington is a team of former U.S. leader Barack Obama. Shortly before it was reported that the White house was engaged in investigation of such cases — it was, in particular, about the disclosure of details of telephone conversations trump with the leaders of other countries.
The number of cases of leaks of classified information in the United States rose last year by more than two times, said TASS, citing data from U.S. Department of justice. In 2016, the office has received 37 signals about cases of unauthorized disclosure of sensitive data.
