Speaker of the state Duma Vyacheslav Volodin in the plenary session, called on parliamentarians not to doubt the capabilities of the Russian participants of the musical contest “Eurovision-2017” Yulia Samoilova, reports TASS on Wednesday, March 22.
Thus he reacted to the statement of the Deputy from fraction of LDPR Vasily Vlasov, who stated that some of his colleagues in the lower house of Parliament did not pay enough attention to the real work.

The liberal Democrat added that, regardless, “she sings well or not,” Samoilov represents Russia, so all members are required to support it.
Commenting on his words, Volodin said: “sings Well, and when a doubt has arisen here is wrong.”
Before the press-Secretary of Russian President Dmitry Peskov told reporters that Moscow still relies on the participation of the singer in the contest “Eurovision-2017”, which will be held in Kiev in may. He stressed that the Ukrainian side has not yet announced “on any official decisions.”
