UAE recognized happiest country in the Arab world

DUBAI, 21 Mar — RIA Novosti. UAE ranked in the 21st position in the world in the UN World Happiness Report, in 2017, become the happiest country in the Arab world for the third year in a row.

Qatar, the report was placed in the 35th position, Saudi Arabia — in the 37th, Kuwait — on the 39th and Bahrain — in the 41st.

The report commented on the Prime Minister and Vice President of the UAE, ruler of Dubai Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum. “We also took first place in the world for the satisfaction of residents from other countries”, — he wrote in his Twitter account.

“According to the report, UAE ranks first in world in terms of health of the inhabitants, second largest in the world in terms of satisfaction with the economy and fourth in terms of comfort. Also second place in the world, the UAE has taken on a confidence in the future of the economy and the fourth on the satisfaction of life standards”, — said the Prime Minister.

The report was commissioned by the UN. With the help of such studies in the international organizations hope to develop measures to improve the level and quality of life of the population in different countries of the world.

The rankings World Happiness Report takes into account six factors: GDP per capita; life expectancy; social support in difficult situations; trust in government; evaluation of the free decision-making concerning their life; and generosity (assessed from the point of view of the size of donations to charity).
