In the North Caucasus can introduce electronic visas for tourists

The Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev has instructed the ministries until the summer to consider the question of issuing electronic visas for foreign tourists who enter the territory of the North Caucasus Federal district (NCFD), according to the website of the Cabinet on Monday.

“The Russian foreign Ministry (S. Lavrov), in cooperation with the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia, FSB of Russia, Ministry of communications of Russia, Ministry of culture and Minkowksi Russia to consider the issue of extradition of foreign tourists entering the territory of the North Caucasus Federal district, viz in the form of electronic document taking into account the existing instructions of the President of the Russian Federation on this issue and the results are to be reported to the government of the Russian Federation”, — stated in the order.

This assignment was given following the meeting of the government Commission on the socio-economic development of the North Caucasus Federal district, which was chaired by Dmitry Medvedev on March 10, in Essentuki. The period of execution of the specified task — 1 June this year.
