In Japan there are many types of cherry trees under a common local name “Sakura”, some of them bloom in Tokyo from the beginning of March and some even in December.
It is expected that the mass of the cherry blossoms will start in the parks of Japan by the beginning of April. In the alleys of the Sakura the Japanese have picnics under the cherry trees, have fun and drink sake, encountering the spring.
