Visit Seoul the Secretary of state remained without an official invitation to the dinner

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson said that during his visit to Seoul, the host is not invited him to dinner. He told this in an interview with the Independent Journal Review is in response to a request of journalists to comment on reports the South Korean press that the meal was cancelled due to his fatigue.

Tillerson explained that in fact wasn’t tired. “They weren’t invited to dinner and then last minute realized that it doesn’t look very good, and made a statement about my fatigue,” he said.

U.S. Secretary of state also added that the program of events is the receiving party, and not by delegation. However, he noted that he had dinner with his staff.

Tillerson came to South Korea with a visit on Friday, March 17. At the talks with the foreign Minister of South Korea Yun Byung-Se discussed nuclear and missile programs of the DPRK. After meeting U.S. Secretary of state said that the us authorities do not rule out military action against North Korea if it threatens Seoul and American troops stationed there.
