The US state Department has promised to extend anti-Russian sanctions

U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson at the meeting with the Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that it respects Russia, but sanctions will remain in force, reports RIA Novosti.


 


“As for the continuation of sanctions until Russia comes to the fulfillment of requirements for Eastern Ukraine and Crimea — Yes, it’s true,” Tillerson told the words of the acting state Department spokesman mark Toner.


 


Earlier , foreign Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said that he held talks with U.S. Secretary of state Rex Tillerson, and at that meeting, supposedly there were words of support to Ukraine and spoke of the impossibility of any concessions to Russia.
