In Astrakhan, two high school students rescued drowning in the river channel children. On Saturday, March 4, reports “Interfax” with reference to the head of the press service of the regional emergency management Dmitry Dubrovsky.
According to him, March 4, at about 16:00 local time (15:00 GMT) in the rescue service received a call about the incident on behalf of Babayevsky district. Ten-year-old brother and sister played on the ice, Erik (river flow — approx. “Of the tape.ru”) hay, but the ice broke and the children fell into the water.
Witnesses of the accident was the age of the victims, they ran to nearby houses and began banging on the Windows asking for help.
“Sinking helped teenagers. Two pupils of 8-th and 9-th classes of school № 27 Sergey Isaev Nikita Vostrikov jumped into the icy water and pulled them out, and then was able to get out themselves. Brother and sister taken to hospital,” — said Dubrovsky.
About the health of rescued and rescuers are not reported.

On the way to the service police major Levan Mebonia was heard from behind the high fence screaming for help. He saw in the pit dug around the building under construction, floundering child.
