The death toll in result of avalanche in Kabardino-Balkaria increased up to seven people. On Saturday, March 4, the Agency “Interfax-South” told the duty officer of the Elbrus highland search and rescue team of EMERCOM of Russia.
“Found another victim in the avalanche. The search completed,” he said.
Earlier on Saturday reported the discovery of the fifth and sixth died on the slopes of Cheget tourists. Morning the search was resumed on the company’s statement of holidaymakers who have discovered the loss of three friends. At about 12:13 GMT rescuers found the bodies of men and women.
The day before, March 3, rescuers found two men and two women who died under a snow avalanche. Another skier was found alive.

Two snowboarders got up high on a mountainside and in the middle clipped the avalanche, and three guys were at the bottom, also outside of the ski area, they also wanted to drive over the snow”, — he said.
According to Budayev, on this slope always remains relatively the avalanche danger, which is increased in conditions of warming. However, this is not related to open for skiing areas of the mountains.
