The head of the election headquarters of françois Fillon resigned
Patrick Stefanini refused to support the policy after the scandal of illegal payments to his wife.
Moscow. March 4. INTERFAX.RU Patrick Stefanini, the head of the electoral headquarters of the candidate in presidents of France from the center-right party “the Republicans” françois Fillon, resigned. According to BBC, Stefanini will leave the post on Sunday evening.
The head of the headquarters said that may not be sure of the probability of exit of Fillon in the second round of elections.
Earlier, the deputies from the party “Union of Democrats and independent” (UDI) urged Fillon to choose another candidate in the Wake of the scandal over payments.
Allegedly, his wife and children were paid for parliamentary work, which they never did.
