Trump was offered the post of adviser on Russia and Europe criticizing Putin

The administration of U.S. President Donald trump suggested Fiona hill is known for criticizing Russian leader Vladimir Putin to become an adviser on Russia and Europe at the national security Council. It is reported by Foreign Policy.

Hill, a citizen of the US and the UK, a graduate of Harvard, a member of the Brookings institution, author of many books on Russia, an expert on Russian and Soviet history and Russian language studied including the Moscow Institute of foreign languages named after Maurice Thorez. She worked for American intelligence from 2006 to 2009 and has spoken to the press with criticism of Putin.

In 2013, she published a biography of the Russian President, where he warned his opponents underestimate the strategic abilities of Putin and his ability to find the weaknesses of opponents — according to hill, the current Russian leader has learned while working in the KGB.

After winning the trump in the election she also commented on the possibility of restarting relations between the two countries. “The Russians will be full of expectations, and five minutes later they are disappointed, because the United States and Russia is very difficult to agree in the views,” she explained to the magazine The Atlantic.

The news that hill was offered a job, appeared on the background of the scandal with the US attorney General: Democrats urged him to resign because of conversations with the Russian Ambassador.

Earlier it was reported that the ad hoc Committee on intelligence of the house of representatives will investigate the alleged ongoing contacts between members of staff trump with Russia.

In January it became known that US intelligence agencies are investigating possible ties between members of the team trump with Russia. In particular, it was noted that the investigators have data about certain financial transactions.

Trump has repeatedly denied these accusations.
