State Duma Deputy, former chief sanitary doctor of Russia Gennady Onishchenko has suggested to spend in Moscow region with participation of the Russian Orthodox Church festival of “Domostroy.” About it reports “Interfax” with reference to Moscow “Radio-1” on Wednesday, March 3.
“Next week I will meet masters who are able and willing to participate,” — said the MP.
The date of the event has not been chosen. Presumably it can coincide with the Day of family, love and fidelity, celebrated in July, or Apple save — on 19 August.
According to Onishchenko, the monument of Russian literature, in whose honour it is planned to name the festival not to be construed as “the seat of the Patriarchal savagery” wrong. “In fact it is collected by the Archpriest Sylvester folk wisdom, traditions and customs of Russia, Russian family, Russian education, nutrition, family relationships to mother, to woman as source of life,” — said the Deputy.
On 1 March it was reported that in St. Petersburg, the Cossacks will be distributed to women as a gift on March 8 Mimosas and “Domostroy”. The initiator of the action — chieftain of the Orthodox Union of Cossacks “IRBIS” explained that “Domostroy” of interest to women and will encourage their spiritual development.
“Domostroy” — a monument of Russian literature of the XVI century. The book is a compendium of rules, advice and guidance on family issues, religion and management.
