The Supreme Council of Transnistria approved the initiative of the authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic about recognition of the Russian flag the second national flag of the country, reports RIA Novosti.
It is noted that the tricolor will now be decorating the administrative building, also used on festive and formal occasions. According to the authors, this step will strengthen the statehood of the Republic and will mark a new stage of integration with Russia.
