Review of Ambassador of Moldova in Russia came as a surprise to the foreign Ministry

Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Grigory Karasin said that the decision of Moldova to withdraw the Ambassador of Republic in Russia came as a surprise.


 


“The news was a bit unexpected,” admitted Karasin TASS.


 


According to him, the Ambassador of Moldova in Russia was “respected, reputable member of the ambassadorial corps in Moscow.”


 


Earlier the government of Moldova adopted a decision to recall its Ambassador to Russia Dmitry Braghis, who also headed the diplomatic mission of the Republic of Tajikistan. The reasons for the recall of a diplomat is not called.


 


Braghis was Ambassador to Russia and Tajikistan from 27 November 2015.
