The Russian foreign Ministry denied the request on detention of the citizens of North Korea in case Kim Jong-Nam

MOSCOW, February 28. /TASS/. Reliable information about the involvement of relevant citizens of the DPRK to the incident at the airport of Kuala Lumpur and an official request from competent parties with a request for their arrest to the Russian Federation did not arrive. This was reported by TASS source in the Russian foreign Ministry.

“As far as we know, the investigation of the incident with North Korean citizen in the airport of Kuala Lumpur is the Malaysian side, the source said. – Reliable information about the involvement of the citizens of the DPRK the incident, as well as an official petition about their detention from the competent party to us did not arrive”.

The Seoul newspaper Chosun reported, citing an anonymous source that South Korea has reportedly asked Russia to help catch four suspects in the murder in Kuala Lumpur citizen of the DPRK, presumably Kim Jong-Nam – brother of North Korean leader Kim Jong-UN, but the request was rejected for lack of reasons.

Allegedly, four suspects of involvement in DPRK nationals immediately left Malaysia, presumably – the flight of the plane via Jakarta, Dubai, Moscow and Vladivostok.
