The government of Japan is going to offer Russia a detailed plan for joint economic activities on southern Kuriles, which would not affect the problem of ownership of the Islands. About it writes “nikkey”.
According to the newspaper, Tokyo offers to provide medical assistance and to provide advice to residents of the southern Kuril Islands with remote access, including via the Internet.
Also organise private Russian and Japanese companies of the sea cruises to some Islands of the South Kuril Islands. Thus tourists will not land there.
Moreover, Tokyo offers to work in the field of ecology and fisheries, in particular preparing proposals for joint ventures for the processing and production of seafood.
