The joint mission of military observers from the United States and France from February 27 to March 4, will make observation flight over Russia under the open skies Treaty.
During the flight on Board Russian specialists will monitor the strict observance of the flight parameters and application of the Treaty instruments of observation, the official website of the Ministry of defense of Russia.
The observation aircraft OC-135Б is not intended to use any weapons. Surveillance equipment have passed the international certification, which was attended by Russian experts, which excludes the use of technical means, not covered by the contract.
