South Korea has begun final hearings on the impeachment of the President

Moscow. 27 Feb. INTERFAX.RU the constitutional court of South Korea on Monday embarked on the final stage of consideration of the case of President Park Geun-Hye, which on 9 December 2016, the Parliament began impeachment proceedings, reports The Korea Times.

The Park Geun-Hye at the hearings does not appear. Later, the lawyer Park Geun-Hye will read her judgment. It is expected that the court will announce its decision until March 13.

Media are reminded that if the constitutional court upholds the impeachment, and Park Geun-Hye finally lose the presidency in South Korea in the next 60 days should pass elections of the new President.

Political scandal around the President of South Korea erupted after it became known that the approach of President Choi sung-SIL, without occupying any positions in the administration, the rules of a number of texts of presidential speeches.
