DND and Ukraine have not reached an agreement to resolve the situation with the Donetsk filter station. The negotiations of the contact group on videoconference lasted several hours and did not lead to any results. It is reported TASS with reference to press Secretary of the Plenipotentiary representative of the DND Victoria Talakin.
“The Ukrainian side during a videoconference of the contact group refused the agreement on the normalization of the situation on the demarcation line of the parties, including in the area of the Donetsk filtering station,” she said.
The responsibility for the failure of negotiations in the NPT conferred on Ukraine. As reported Tulakina, Kiev turned a deaf ear to calls to cease fire.
Previously close to the negotiations, the source said that the station can admit the Ukrainian maintenance crews.
Earlier, the militants of the Ukrainian radical units seized the objects of the Donetsk filtering station. It provides water to the Donetsk, Spartak, Yasinovataya and a few other settlements of Donbass. During attacks some shells got to a warehouse of chlorine and reservoirs. In the OSCE believe that sighting contact the station could lead to environmental disaster.
