The state Duma has revealed the contributions of inter-parliamentary organizations

The state Duma may pay more than 600 thousand euros and 300 thousand Swiss francs as contribution in the international parliamentary organizations this year. The amount will be approved at the meeting of the Duma Council, follows from the document published on Monday 20 February, on the website of the lower house of Parliament.

“It is proposed to accept the proposal of the Committee on foreign Affairs and the Committee on CIS Affairs, Eurasian integration and relations with compatriots pay the annual dues in the international parliamentary structures, produced on the basis of orders of the RF government”, — stated in the document on the agenda of the meeting of the Duma Council, which will be held on Tuesday, February 21.

We are talking about contributions to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (more than 189 thousand euros), the European Interparliamentary Assembly of Orthodoxy (200 thousand), the Parliamentary Assembly of the black sea economic cooperation (almost 206 thousand). The list also was the inter-parliamentary Union, whose budget is planned to direct 333 thousand Swiss francs, and the Secretariat of the parliamentary conference of the Baltic sea, which relies 18 thousand euros.

The contribution of the International Federation of library societies and associations have not yet been determined, the payment will be made upon receipt of invoice, the document says.

December 1 last year, it was reported that Russia in the full volume paid the dues to the Council of Europe for 2017, including the portion intended for the work in the parliamentary Assembly (PACE). The specific amount is not called. Later it became known that the Russian delegation will not have to contact the organization for confirmation of their powers, of which she was deprived of in 2014 because of the events in the East of Ukraine and Crimea.

In 2016, according to TASS, the annual contribution of Russia to the Council of Europe was to be 32 million euros. Moscow paid only a portion of this amount.
