Russia has lost one of its most talented diplomats, McFaul about the death Churkin

Former U.S. Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul called “shocking and tragic” news of the death, permanent representative of the Russian Federation to the UN Vitaly Churkin. This American diplomat wrote in his microblog on Twitter.


 


“Russia has lost one of its most talented diplomats. Shocking and tragic news,” said McFaul.


 


Vitaly Churkin, died February 20 in new York. Today, the diplomat would be 65 years. Condolences in connection with death of the Russian Ambassador to the UN expressed the head of state Vladimir Putin, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, representatives of the Ministry of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, as well as political and public figures around the world.
