The former US Ambassador to the UN Susan rice wrote on his Twitterthat he was shocked by news of the death of a Russian colleague Vitaly Churkin.

Earlier, another former representative States to the UN , Samantha power, Vitaly Churkin called the “Maestro of diplomacy and an extremely caring person, who did everything possible to overcome the differences between the US and Russia.”
