Team Russia lost to team Denmark in the final of the European championship on badminton among mixed teams in the Polish Lublin. The meeting ended with the score 3:0 in favor of the Danes. About it the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.
Ivan Sozonov and Ekaterina Bolotova in the mixed doubles lost to Joachim Fischer Nielsen and Christina Pedersen (22:24, 10:21), Eugene Kosecka lost Lina, Klarsfeld (15:21, 15:21), and Anatoly Yartsev failed to beat Anders Antonsen (7:21, 8:21).
Russian team first time got to the final of the European championship. Earlier, the Russian badminton players four times reached the semi-final and became the bronze prize-winners of competitions in 2009, 2011, 2013 and 2015.
