Vice-Admiral Harvard refused to take the post of adviser to trump national security

Vice-Admiral of the Navy Robert Harvard declined the offer to take the post of adviser to the President of the United States Donald trump on national security. About this newspaper the Financial Times, reports RIA Novosti.


 


According to some reports, trump is going to invite Harvard to the White house and persuade him to take this position. The publication reports that one of the reasons for the refusal was uncertainty of Vice-Admiral in the ability to lead your team.


 


Trump has several candidates on this post – it temporarily occupying a retired General Keith Kellogg and former head of the CIA David Petraeus.


 


Earlier it was reported that the adviser to the us President for national security Michael Flynn discussed the sanctions with the Russian Ambassador a few weeks before the inauguration of US President Donald trump. After it became known that Flynn left his post as assistant to the President of the United States.
