The largest diamond in Europe is found under the Archangel

The largest diamond in Europe is found in the diamond field. Vladimir Grib in the Arkhangelsk region. About it reports “Russian newspaper” with reference to the press service of the company.


 


“181,68 diamond weighing carats – the largest in the history of diamond production in Europe”, – said the press service of the company.


 


It is the fourth largest diamond produced in Russia. Previously, large diamonds were mined in Yakutia.


 


Diamond Deposit. Vladimir Grib was discovered in 1995, its active development began in 2014. Estimated reserves of 100 million carats.
