Dvorkovich will hold the February 17 meeting on implementation of the “law of Spring”

MOSCOW, February 16. /TASS/. Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich will hold the February 17 meeting on “law of Spring”, in particular, to discuss the scheme of processing of arrays of information. This Dvorkovich told journalists today.
“There will be a meeting… There’s elements of the law that we understand how to implement in practice. Is the conclusion of the working group, they provided an assessment and we will discuss them”, – he said.

According to Vice-Premier, in the law there are complex issues that require evaluation. “There’s a law there is a definite backlash to the government – the government determines the volume and composition of the data to be stored. Repeatedly said that we in determining this amount, to proceed from the fact that the main system is information processing, not storage,” – said Dvorkovich.

He added that the best investments are, which allow you to quickly process large amounts of information to extract from this volume is necessary for law enforcement or other authorities information.
“We need to find this balance. It’s tomorrow and we’ll discuss… – what to invest in information processing”, he concluded.

The package of anti-terrorist laws, the so-called Spring package on behalf of one of its authors – the Deputy of the state Duma from “United Russia” Irina Spring obliges with the 1 July 2018 operators for three years to store data on the facts of reception, transmission, delivery and processing of voice information and text messages, images, sounds and videos. The bulk of the content – images, sounds and video – operators should store six months. All of this information will also need to provide at the request of the security services.
