Official Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov called absurd the accusations against Russia Today TV and the Agency Sputnik that they affect domestic policy in France. His words on Tuesday, February 14, the correspondent “Tapes.ru”.

He stressed that the media operate in a competitive market. “And if our media in some countries and we are seeing more and more win in this competition, they can only applaud and we need to applaud,” — said Peskov.

However, to say that they are trying to influence public opinion is absurd, said the representative of the Kremlin.
