Russia may raise VAT media

According to the newspaper, the initiator of this change was made by the head of the Ministry Maxim Oreshkin. According to interlocutors of the edition, the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, in General, agree with the decision of colleagues.


According to the publication, the agencies are considering various options, but the main of them is reduction of the insurance premium to 21% and the VAT increase to 21%.


“The idea is being discussed with the deputies and experts, including at the site of the CSR, I know two of them, but the President will decide”, — the newspaper notes.


In September, the media reported that the Ministry of Finance proposed from 2017 to collect insurance premiums from all the payroll at a flat rate of 29%, or to increase VAT to 20% and raise to 12% 10% reduced rate.
