Ex-Deputy of the state Duma Boronenkov announced in the Federal wanted list
MOSCOW, 15 Feb — RIA Novosti. Former state Duma Deputy from the Communist Denis Boronenkov announced in the Federal wanted list on charges of fraud, said acting head of the Department for interaction with mass media of Investigatory Committee of Russia Svetlana Petrenko.
According to investigators, in 2011, a group of persons, which included Denis Boronenkov, organized a raider seizure of the building in the center of Moscow worth five million dollars. The investigation against Boronenkov became possible only after he lost the status of a Deputy. Prior to that, he had immunity and avoided criminal prosecution under article “Swindle in especially large size the organised group”.
According to media reports, last year, Boronenkov, along with his wife, also a former state Duma Deputy, Maria Maksakova moved to Ukraine and received citizenship there. The press wrote that Voronenkov testified the Prosecutor General’s office of Ukraine against former President Viktor Yanukovych on charges of treason.
