Belyaninov declared readiness “to wash the toilets” on the orders of Putin

The former head of the Federal customs service (FCS) Andrei Belyaninov said about the readiness to perform any work as a civil servant. His words leads Agency RNS.

“I will work wherever it is put by the President [Vladimir Putin], you can do: to wash the toilets, can be Governor. I am a person soldier all his life to serve the state, and as you have seen from the Newspapers, not very poor, I have everything in order,” — said Belyaninov.

He also expressed the hope that the President has plans for his employment.

29 July last year, the official Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that he saw no obstacles for a career in the civil service Belyaninov.

Belyaninov filed a petition for his resignation from the post of head of the FCS in July 2016. Shortly before this, the investigators leading the investigation of the criminal case on the fact of illegal cross-border movement of alcohol products in the large size and non-payment of customs duties, found in the house officer 58 million rubles. The civil servant told that the funds are a family savings.

Andrei Belyaninov was head of FCS since 2006. In 2004-2006 he was head of Rosoboronzakaz, before that for four years he was the Director General of “Rosoboronexport”. In the 1990s, was engaged in business. In the 80s, served in the First chief Directorate of KGB (foreign intelligence).
