MOSCOW, February 14. /TASS/. Russian President Vladimir Putin telephoned President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedow to congratulate him on his victory in the elections of the President. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin.
“The Russian leader cordially congratulated Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov on his convincing victory in the presidential election and wished him further successful work at the highest state post,” – said the press service.
“Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation between Russia and Turkmenistan in various fields”, – stated in the message.
