MOSCOW, February 13. /TASS/. Voice of the armed Syrian opposition must be heard in the course of contacts in Astana on 15-16 February. This was stated by Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov.
“We proceed from the need to continue to use the platform how to monitor the parties’ compliance with their obligations not to use force and to advance the political reform process, the Minister said. – We believe it is critically important participation in the political process, representatives of the armed opposition, whose voice must be heard in the course of such a dialogue”
The list of invited
At a meeting in Astana on 15-16 February invited the government and the armed opposition of Syria, special envoy of the UN Secretary General on Syria Staffan de Mistura and the representative of the United States.
