A French citizen of Turkish origin with initials A. S. was in the most wanted list on suspicion of having links with a terrorist group “Islamic state” (IG, is prohibited in Russia). He rented one of the apartments where he was hiding the perpetrator of the terrorist act Abdulkadir Masharipov.
Detained since 2009, living in France.
The attack on the night club Reina in the Turkish metropolis happened at new year’s eve. The executor of the terrorist act were detained on 16 January in the course of the antiterrorist operation in the district of Esenyurt in Istanbul.
