Russian drones in the Syrian Palmyra recorded the movement of trucks belonging to the banned terrorist organization ISIS. This was reported in the Ministry of defence of the Russian Federation.
It is assumed that the trucks of the terrorists transporting the explosives to the area of the ancient city.
“This is evidence of the intent of ISIS to deliver the explosives to destroy the remaining ancient architectural monuments in front of his retreat,” – said in the press release of the Russian defense Ministry.
Also, the Russian military managed to find video evidence of the destruction by ISIS of a number of objects of historical-architectural complex of Ancient Palmyra. The footage clearly shows that the terrorists blew up the ancient Roman theater and the pillars of tetrapylon, rectangular building that was built in 270 ad.
