MOSCOW, February 12. /TASS/. The head of Russian foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov is scheduled contact with the U.S. Secretary of state in the near future. This was stated by the Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia in interview to the program “week” on NTV.
The situation in Ukraine
Lavrov intends obodeti Ukraine and other international issues during contact with U.S. Secretary of state.
Commenting on the situation in Ukraine, Lavrov said that he sees no alternative to the Minsk package of measures, which is confirmed also partners of Russia in Europe and the United States. “The Europeans and I hope that the Americans confirm this. I say “hopefully” because while the American team, which will deal with the Ukraine is not formed”, – said Lavrov.
