“Of course, let’s just say the emergence of new politicians, skilled politicians, talented politicians, charismatic politicians, it is in the interest of all,” said Mr Peskov, in response to the question “Kommersant FM”.
“Opposition parties and parliamentary factions are responsible for making the decision about who will participate from them in the presidential elections. It is not the prerogative of the Kremlin is to determine of these candidates,”— said Dmitry Peskov.
Previously RBC wrote that the Duma opposition parties decided on the candidates after consultations with the Kremlin and decided that selections from them will be already known and familiar leaders.
