The participants of the blockade of the railway in the Donbass blocked the new plot: the movement is blocked on the segment Yasinovataya — Konstantinovka in the Donetsk region. On Friday, February 10, reported on the website of activists in Facebook.
“The blockade is at the site near the station Phenolic. Currently, engineering work and development of the area”, — stated in the message.
Among the participants of the blockade included the veterans of the ATO (anti-terrorist operation in Kiev called the fighting in the East of Ukraine) and also representatives banned in Russia as extremist Organization of Ukrainian nationalists (OUN), notes TASS.
On 7 February the Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Volodymyr Parasyuk urged the participants of the blockade of the railway in the Donbas to use weapons against the security forces “in case of threat to life.” According to him, the veterans of the ATO, past the airport in Donetsk, Ilovaysk and debaltseve, have nothing to fear.
February 5, police in Kiev-controlled part of Donetsk region tried to unlock the railroad tracks in the Donetsk region with the use of batons and tear gas.
On 25 January, the veterans of the ATO blocked traffic on the freight rail line Lugansk — Lysychansk — Popasnaya near the village of Golden. The next day they blocked Svetlanova station in the Luhansk region. The aim of the blockade is “the termination of the supply of goods in the LC and the DNI and back, as well as the financing of these territories by the Ukrainian state.”
The armed conflict in the South-East of Ukraine began in April 2014 after the Ukrainian government announced the start of the antiterrorist operation. In the Donbass after this was proclaimed Donetsk and Lugansk people’s Republic.
