Trump has promised new measures of national security in the United States and the world in Asia

Speaking about the main topic of the meeting, trump said the strength of the Union of the United States and Japan. “The us-Japan Alliance is the cornerstone for peace and stability in the Asia Pacific region”, — he said at a press conference with the Prime Minister of Japan.
Trump considers it important that both countries continue to make a significant contribution to this Alliance, which he is sure, “will become stronger and stronger.”
Trump also said he would work with Japan to build protection against the North Korean nuclear threat.
“We will work together to promote our common interests that we have a lot in the region, including freedom of navigation and protection from North Korean missile and nuclear threats. Both I consider very important priority,” said trump.
“We are committed to the security of Japan and all territories under its administrative control,” — said the President of the United States, clearly referring to China in the contested Islands of Senkaku archipelago (Diaoyu) Islands in the East China sea.
Trump also believes that Washington and Beijing can get along and are already on this road — which will also benefit Japan.
“As most of you know, yesterday I had a very, very good conversation with President of China. It was a very warm conversation. We are in the process of a good along. I think it will also bring great benefit to Japan,” said trump at a press conference after talks with Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
As reported earlier, the White house, held late Thursday evening a “long telephone conversation” between trump and the President of China XI Jinping was “very cordial” during the conversation, the leader of the United States agreed to respect the “one China policy”.
Trade and devaluation
Trump also promised a fair world trade and combat the artificial devaluation, which is used to keep the exporters, but may lead to “currency wars” as countries try to artificially reduce their currencies.
“The devaluation of the currency, I have long complained on this score. I think, ultimately, probably much faster than many think, will be in the area of equal opportunities,” said trump at a press conference. “It has to be honest and we will make it honest,” he added.
Abe has expressed confidence that the tasks that were set before the TRANS-Pacific partnership (TPP) will be implemented. In January, trump has signed a decree on the withdrawal from the agreement on the TTP. In the TRANS-Pacific partnership planned creation of a free trade zone in the Asia Pacific region. On the Pacific countries have 40% of the world economy and a third of world trade.
The Japanese Prime Minister asked whether he thinks the desire to withdraw from this agreement by mistake. Abe said only that he was “aware of the decision of the President of trump”.
“Creating fair rules for free trade was TTP. That hasn’t changed, and I believe it will,” he said.
New measures on national security
