Putin urged the foreign Ministry to focus on the fight against terrorism

The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated the staff of the foreign Ministry on their professional holiday the day of the diplomat, stressing the need to focus foreign policy on the fight against international terrorism. On Friday, February 10, reports the Kremlin website.

“The diplomatic service of Russia can be proud of their achievements. But our country faces the challenges do not become easier. Focus should definitely be the fight against terrorism and extremism. To eradicate these threats is impossible without joint efforts of all States”, — stated in the message.

In addition, Putin urged diplomats to continue active work on all directions of foreign policy activity and “to contribute to peace, stability and security”.

19 December 2016 during a speech at the opening of the exhibition in Ankara was shot the Russian Ambassador in Turkey Andrey Karlov.
