Putin proposed to prohibit employees of the FSO on the Internet to tell about the service

Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to prohibit employees of the organs of state security to post information about their work. The corresponding bill introduced by the President in the state Duma on Saturday, February 11, hosted on the website of the lower house of Parliament.

“Employees of the organs of state security are prohibited in the media, in information-telecommunication network Internet information (including photos, videos, and other materials) about themselves, other officers of the state guard, can reveal belonging to the organs of state security, on his or her activities, the activities of the organs of state security”, — the document says.

Under the bill, to serve in the FSO won’t be able persons who use narcotic drugs or psychotropic substances without a doctor’s prescription. It is also the basis for refusal in employment in the organs of state security will be the release from criminal responsibility and business activities.

The Federal security service is responsible for the protection of the country’s leadership to ensure that it is protected communication. Also, the Agency is entitled to conduct operational-investigative activities.
