Zakharov rejected suspicions the importation of “sanctions” diplomats

The official representative of Russian foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that no carries from foreign diplomatic travel sanctions products. Her words leads TASS on Friday, February 10, with reference to the radio station “Nashe radio”.

“I can assure you that no one on diplomatic passports anywhere abroad for cheeses and other “zapresheno” does not leave. (…) I say to myself and those colleagues with whom I fly…” she said, commenting on the fact that diplomats are allegedly brought from the mission “zapresheno”.

Zakharova noted that for travel abroad only uses a diplomatic passport, which is stored in the personnel Department of the foreign Ministry. “You’ll laugh, but I have no Schengen area”, — she added.

On 1 February, the CPS announced its intention to fine for storage and transportation of goods prohibited for import to Russia. According to prepared by the office of the bill, citizens proposed to be punished for the sum from 3 thousand to 5 thousand rubles.

In the summer of 2014, Moscow imposed a ban on the import into Russia of products from countries supporting anti-Russian sanctions. The list includes USA, Canada, Australia, member countries of the European Union, Norway, Albania, Montenegro, Iceland, Liechtenstein. From August 2015 prohibited to import products into the country shall be destroyed.
