The reports in some U.S. media that the Kremlin is preparing an agreement with the new administration of the USA to Ukraine are untrue, said press Secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov. His words on Thursday, February 9, reports the correspondent of”.ru”.

“It is unlikely that the internal conflict may be the subject of some deal. This information does not correspond to reality,” Peskov said.

A Kremlin spokesman also stressed that “the subject of the transaction can not be the fate of people who live in the Donbass, and who are now de facto rejected by his own state.”

At the same time, according to Peskov, Moscow hopes that Washington “is somehow use its influence to convince the same Kiev to fulfil its obligations in terms of implementing the Minsk agreements and refrain from aggressive tactics in addressing this problem, which we observed last days.”

February 7, Russian foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that the desire of the President of the United States Donald trump to grasp the essence of problems in Ukraine is a quality shift in comparison with the position of the Obama administration. He noted that Washington is aware that the return of the territories of Donbass under the control of Kiev will not solve all problems.
