VIENNA, 10 Feb. /Offset. TASS Dmitry Valeev/. Special OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine (SMM) should monitor the situation not only in the conflict zone, but also in other regions of the country. This was stated on Thursday, Russia’s permanent representative to the OSCE Alexander Lukashevich.
“With all the necessary attention to the conflict zone in the Donbass, the SMM needs to cover wider political and socio-economic situation throughout the Ukraine – it has a direct bearing on the prospects for a peaceful settlement and the implementation of the Minsk agreements. The amount of mission statements does not match the invested in it resources,” – said Lukashevich.
