The American military did not see large-scale movement of Russian troops near the Ukrainian border. About it to journalists on Tuesday said Pentagon spokesman Jeff Davis, noting that the US is concerned about the recent escalation of the conflict between the forces of Ukraine and the self-proclaimed republics of Donbass.

“This is a significant outbreak of violence (situation in the vicinity of the Town – approx. TASS), the most prominent of those that we saw starting in 2015,” he said. According to Davis, the US defense Department does not see “any large-scale movement of Russian troops, which would allow to speculate that it was part of something bigger”.

The representative of the military at the same time, continued to claim that Russia supposedly relates “to everything that is happening in Eastern Ukraine”. “This is our rating for a long time,” he concluded. Russia at the highest level have repeatedly stated that no Russian troops in the Donbass there was not.
