The introduction of a border zone does not restrict the freedom of crossing the border with Belarus

MOSCOW, February 6. /TASS/. Introduction the border zone along the border of Russia and Belarus does not restrict border crossings, including for transport and goods. This was reported by TASS in the Center of public relations (TSOs) FSB of the Russian Federation in connection with orders issued by the Director of the FSB on the establishment of the border zone on the Russian-Belarusian state border in the Smolensk, Pskov and Bryansk regions.

In TSOs FSB explained that these “documents do not contradict the norms of international treaties of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus and do not impose restrictions on the freedom of crossing the state border of the Russian Federation by citizens of both countries”.
