The US President Donald trump on Saturday in interview to TV channel Fox News said that he respects Russian President Vladimir Putin, though he doesn’t know whether they will get along.
“Will I be able to get along with him? Have no idea,” said trump, noting that Russia “it is better to get along than not get along”.
Trump also said that if Moscow will help US in the fight against the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in several countries, including in Russia), it will be “very good”.
Earlier during a joint press conference with Prime Minister of great Britain Teresa may, trump announced that the US and Russia can be “a fantastic relationship“.
