The President of the United States Donald trump is not going to “look into the rear view mirror” in relations with Russia. This was stated by Vice-President Michael Penny in an interview with broadcaster NBC, reports TASS.
He noted that normalization of relations with Russia will benefit the whole world. The cooperation of the Russian Federation and the United States is necessary in order to defeat the terrorist group “Islamic state” (banned in Russia).
“If we get along with Russia, it will benefit the entire world. If we work with Russia to defeat Islamic state and confront radical Islamists, it will be well,” he said.
Pence also said that trump is not the man who will look back on the issue of relations with Russia.
Earlier it was reported that the President of the United States Donald trump during an interview with Fox News channel responded to criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
