The Hubble telescope captures death of a red giant

The American space Agency NASA showed a picture from the space telescope Hubble, which depicted the death of a star. Exploded cosmic body is a red giant in the constellation of the Stern, which, after the death turned into a planetary nebula.

As noted in NASA, this phenomenon can be observed very rarely, since on a cosmic scale, it lasts an instant. The lost star is now a full-fledged nebula, but this will not happen in less than a thousand years.

The resulting nebula was the index of OH 231.8+04.2 and the name “Rotten egg” because it contains a lot of sulfur.
