The Minister of foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and his Italian counterpart Angelino Alfano discussed the schedule of upcoming contacts between the two countries and exchanged views on the state of relations between Russia and the West and the situation in Ukraine. “The foreign Ministers discussed the schedule of forthcoming contacts at summit and high levels, as well as priority issues on the bilateral agenda, including the task of ensuring the full functioning of the basic mechanisms of Russian-Italian cooperation and the recovery of the positive dynamics in trade and economic relations,” – said in the Ministry.
