Dmitry Rogozin headed the Aviation Board

Aviation Board was headed by Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin. This is the order of the Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Medvedev, published on the official Internet portal of legal information.

The Board also includes the Minister of industry and trade Denis Manturov, Minister of transport Maxim Sokolov, and Deputy Minister of defense Yuri Borisov.

We will remind, the decision on the establishment of the Aviation Board of the government of Russia was signed on 30 December 2016. A panel created to prompt consideration of development issues of the aviation industry and the preparation of agreed recommendations for their solution.

In October, “Kommersant” reported that the new body is planned to create by analogy with the Marine Collegium to coordinate state marine policy in Russia. This is the second attempt by the government to create a coordinating body for civil aviation industry.
